Part of a full basement dig under this Edwardian house, the cinema room was planned from day one around the screen and the sound.
Two tiers of reclining seats face a large projector screen, with fabric covered acoustic panels on every wall to keep the sound in the room. A fibre optic star ceiling and step lights make it feel like a proper cinema when the lights go down.
The equipment is hidden in a ventilated cupboard at the back, and the whole system runs from one remote.
