Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire
A small Cotswold stone cow barn at the end of the garden has become a cinema room that the whole family fights over on a Friday night.
The old roof timbers were kept and the walls lined in deep green velvet acoustic panels between them, so the sound stays warm and clear. A huge velvet sofa bed faces a screen that drops down from the beams, with a small wood burner in the corner for winter films.
Outside it still looks like a barn, with the original stone walls repointed and a new oak door on the old cart opening.
