The detached double garage beside this Dorset cottage has been turned into a self contained annexe for visiting family, with its own kitchenette and shower room.
The roof was opened up into a vaulted ceiling with exposed timber ties and two rooflights, and the old garage doors replaced with a glazed oak door and windows. A small kitchenette with a sink, hob and fridge sits along one wall.
A compact shower room at the back and a comfortable double bed make it feel like a little holiday cottage.
