Allestree, Derby
This garden was all bumpy lawn and overgrown shrubs, with nowhere safe for the children to play. A full makeover has given the family a garden that works for everyone.
The ground was levelled and returfed, with a sandstone patio by the house for the table and chairs. At the bottom, a bark covered play area holds a climbing frame and swing, separated from the lawn by a low sleeper edge.
New close board fencing all round and a small shed for bikes and toys finish it off.
