The old tarmac drive had sunk and cracked, and puddles collected by the front door every time it rained.
The ground was dug out and rebuilt with a new sub base, then finished in a warm honey resin bound gravel that lets water drain straight through. A slim granite sett border edges the drive and carries on as a path to the front door.
A new low brick wall with stone copings and a pair of box balls by the door complete the front.
