Merrow, Guildford
With both owners now working from home most of the week, this garden office at the bottom of the lawn gives one of them a proper commute, all ten metres of it.
The building is fully insulated with a rubber roof and western red cedar cladding, sitting on a small composite deck. Bi fold doors open the whole front up in summer, and an electric heater keeps it warm in winter.
Inside there is a fitted desk, shelving, plenty of sockets and a fibre broadband cable run from the house.
