Bay Window Home Office in a Seafront Townhouse

The front room of this Victorian townhouse on the promenade has been fitted out as a home office with a view of the sea.

A built in oak desk follows the line of the bay window, with drawers at each end, and floor to ceiling bookshelves fill both alcoves. The walls were painted a calm sage and the original floorboards were sanded.

It is the only office in town where the working day starts with the tide.
