Panelled Living Room with a Wood Burner

The front sitting room of this Georgian townhouse had lost its character to plain plaster and a gas fire. It has been brought back to life.

Full height panelling painted a soft green runs around the room, with built in bookcases in both alcoves. The old gas fire was replaced by a black wood burner in a stone surround.

Two sofas face each other across a low table, so the fire is the centre of the room.
