Box Room Home Office with a Built In Desk

The tiny front box room of this Victorian terrace has been fitted out as an office with a view across to the Downs.

A built in oak desk runs the full width of the room under the window, with drawers at each end. Floor to ceiling shelving fills the wall opposite, and the walls were painted a deep blue to make the room feel cosy rather than small.

Everything has a place, so it is easy to shut the door on work at the end of the day.
