Burpham, Guildford
The integral garage of this 1990s house was full of boxes. It has been converted into a home gym the whole family uses.
The garage door was replaced with a wall and a window to match the house. Inside, the floor was raised and insulated and finished with black rubber gym flooring, with a mirrored wall along one side.
A rowing machine, a rack of weights and a bench fill the room.
