Flat Roof Rear Extension with a Kitchen Diner

A single storey rear extension on this 1930s semi has created a large kitchen diner across the back of the house.

Wide aluminium sliding doors open the room to the garden, and a lantern roof light floods the middle with daylight. A navy kitchen runs along one wall, with an island facing the dining table.

The old dining room is now part of the space, so the whole back of the house works as one room.
