Children's Bedroom with a Built In Cabin Bed

A six year old's bedroom in this Edwardian terrace needed somewhere to sleep, play and store far too many toys.

A raised cabin bed was built into the alcove beside the chimney breast, with a ladder, a reading light and deep drawers underneath. The other alcove became a toy cupboard with a window seat on top.

Painted in a cheerful mustard and soft blue, it is built strong enough to last until the teenage years.
