Level Access Wet Room in a Family Bungalow

Newry, County Down

A family member using a wheelchair needed a bathroom they could manage on their own. The old bath and step up shower in this 1980s bungalow made that impossible.

The room was stripped back and laid to a gentle fall, then finished with an anti slip floor that runs straight into the shower area with no tray or lip. A fold down seat, grab rails and a long shower curtain keep it practical without looking clinical.

Warm beige tiles and a timber vanity shelf stop it feeling like a hospital room.
