Kensington, London
Digging out beneath this Victorian townhouse made room for a lap pool lit like a quiet hotel spa.
The pool is lined in dark grey stone, with a slatted oak ceiling and soft lighting hidden in the walls. A glass rooflight above the far end brings daylight down from the garden.
A steam room and a shower sit behind a glass wall at one side.
